OUR GROUPS & ACTIVITIES
Outreach Centre & Op Shop
The Anglican Outreach Centre/Op Shop on Goulburn St.
The Centre is open on Thursday & Friday 9am - 3pm; and Saturday 9am - 12noon. We sell good quality clothing, linen, shoes, books, toys, bric a brac and school clothes. Donations of clean clothing and items in good order can be left at the shop on working days or in the bins on the footpath. Please NO electrical items or furniture. Mothers' Union
Mothers' Union is a worldwide society founded in England over a century ago. Its purpose is to be especially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves Christian family life.
Our branch meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 1.30pm - All Saints' Court Hall. We have either a guest speaker and discussion or a business meeting which is followed by afternoon tea. Drop in Group
Every Wednesday during School term. 10am to 1pm in the Parish hall. Gold Coin donation. Due to COVID regulations, please bring your and your child’s own morning tea and drinks. Cursillo
Cursillo is a worldwide movement of the Christian Church which seeks to make it possible to live out what is fundamental to being a Christian.
'Cursillo' is a Spanish word meaning "short course". In this case it is a short course in Christian living. The 'Cursillo Three Days' is open to all practising Anglicans through a sponsorship program. Separate weekends are held for men and women. For more information contact Tony Farmer on 6573 1150 |
Samaritans
The Samaritans Foundation is the social welfare arm of the Newcastle Anglican Diocese.
This is a ministry which helps people in need. We gratefully receive groceries that parishioners bring each Sunday. The Samaritans and the Parish of Singleton organises a community lunch at Christmas time.
